How it works

We welcome your pre-loved Canada Goose pieces and are waiting to refresh them for their second life. Currently open to all customers in Canada and the United States.

    Trade-In: Locate your item in our catalog using the style number on the tag. We provide a range of what you might expect to receive as a credit for your trade-in garment.

    Review: We will send you a prepaid shipping label to mail in your item to us. A flat rate of $25 will be deducted from your trade-in value to account for shipping and handling. Our dedicated team of experts will then assess the condition of your garment.

    Gift Card: Pieces eligible for trade-in will earn you a Gift Card as a credit to spend at canadagoose.com, generations.canadagoose.com, or at a Canada Goose store.

  • Currently we are accepting select outerwear and clothing, including parkas, bombers, and vests. Check the before initiating a trade-in.

  • We only accept trade-in items through mail-in. Trade-ins in-store will not be accepted.

  • Once your gift card has been issued, your item cannot be returned.

At this time, we only accept trade-in items through mail-in. Trade-ins in-store will not be accepted.

Our team of product experts review your items for eligibility and assess their condition against three different grades: Excellent, Very Good, and Good. Depending on the grade, you will receive a corresponding gift card credit for your item(s).

Your gift card can be spent on canadagoose.com, generations.canadagoose.com, or at any Canada Goose store.

Once you have mailed in your trade-in items, it will take about 10 days for us to assess the conditions of the products and determine a gift card credit.

Unfortunately, items will not be returned unless they are deemed ineligible or unsellable. As part of the trade-in journey online, you'll get an estimate based on the information you enter. The final credit you receive may be lower than the quoted estimate based on the assessment of the item.

If the item contains sentimental value to you, please ensure you'd like to part with it before trading in.

If for any reason your item is not eligible for our trade-In program it will be shipped back to you without charge.
