What if I’m not happy with the value I was quoted?

The CG Generations trade-in program is designed to issue up to 60% of the retail value of an eligible CG item so it can be sold again through the Generations website. As this is not a peer-to-peer selling service, the credit you receive will be determined by the condition we receive the item.

Unfortunately, items will not be returned unless they are deemed ineligible or unsellable so please make sure that you are comfortable with the value range provided.

We are unable to intercept an item once it is shipped to our warehouse for processing or adjust the credit for your approved item(s).


How do gift cards work?

Your gift card is redeemable at generations.canadagoose.comcanadagoose.com and any Canada Goose retail stores within the country that you complete the trade-in.


How long will it take to receive my gift card credit?

Once you have mailed in your trade-in items, it will take about 10 days for us to assess the conditions of the products and determine a gift card credit.


Can my items be returned if I'm not satisfied with the credit I receive?

Unfortunately, items will not be returned unless they are deemed ineligible or unsellable.

As part of the trade-in journey online, you will be able to view an estimated range of how much you will receive for your items, so please make sure you are comfortable with the estimates before sending in your products.


Will my item be returned if it’s not accepted?

If for any reason your item is not eligible for our trade-In program it will be shipped back to you without charge. Please make sure you enter a deliverable address where you can receive mail at.

As a reminder we are unable to ship to PO Boxes and Military Addresses.
